The suppressor core is CNC welded C300 Maraging nickel-cobalt superalloy.  The aerospace alloy was developed and used by NASA to meet the extreme high-temp stress requirements of rocket motor casings with an incredible strength to weight ratio.  {Tensile yield strength is a measure of how much force a material can withstand before it begins to fail.}  The C300 maraging steel used in our suppressor is heat treated to achieve a yield of over 270ksi making is far superior when compared to the alloys other manufacturers use like 17-4 H1150 Stainless yielding 100ksi or 6AI-4V Titanium yielding 120ksi.  Additionally, it has greater strength at 1000 degrees Fahrenheit than either 17-4 H1150 Stainless or titanium have at room temperature.  The unique material of the V7 One suppressor joins our family of super alloys and “lightweight, no compromises” motto.  It’s a suppressor with the rugged, full-auto rated capability of a heavy suppressor with the light weight of a less rugged titanium version. 

The ultra strength of this unique aerospace alloy allows our suppressor to achieve very low weight at 13.5 oz without sacrificing durability.  The high strength alloy allows thinner walls not only to optimize the overall weight but also increases internal volume while maintaining a small outer envelope.  More internal volume equals better sound attenuation.

The V7 One suppressor is compatible with all industry standard quick-disconnect mounting systems including the following trademarked systems: Q Plan-B, Dead Air KEY-MO (DA428), Silencer Co. ASR and others. 

Manufactured specifically for the .338 ARC but compatible with calibers up to .338 Lapua.  The suppressor also works well with smaller calibers such as 308, 6mm ARC, 300 Blackout, etc.

The data shown in the above graph (see product photos) is taken from Metallic Materials Properties Development and Standardization (MMPDS) which is the US Federal standard for metallic materials properties.  This standard is used for DoD (Formerly Mil-Handbook-5), FAA and NASA for flight critical design and procurement.  This represents statistically validated materials properties for Aerospace Materials Standards (AMS).  Data shown for C300 Maraging Steel is per AMS 6514 (bar) and for 17-4PH Stainless is per AMS 5643 (bar).
